Ghost Hunters returns September 5th

That's right my paranormal readers, Ghost Hunters new season begins September 5, Wednesday at 9/8c pm. What can we expect this season? Well if the little glimpses I've seen on the site are any indication, it seems like the show is somewhat reverting back to it's roots,....some. Touting "with Grant gone the rules have changed" the show is definitely fanning the flames of curiosity. One has to wonder exactly what rules they are referring to in the first place?
We did notice this much, within the first seconds of the promotional season tape was the all too familiar "what the f$%^& was that?" TPB has said many times we're not a fan of the level of swearing on any of the paranormal shows, including Paranormal Adventures.  The constant "bleeping" during every episode is mind numbing and distracting. For Pete's sake, you're ghost hunters....what do you mean "what the f#$%^ was that? What do you think it was??? You're in a place reported to be haunted..go find out what it was...and say while you're at it...how about aiming the camera in the direction you heard the noise? We're not interested in your expression and reaction, we want to see what you see, assuming you see anything..

Oh well that's our tip for the day, we will be tuning in, and yes we're taking the "now that Grants gone the rules have changed" bait.  Hopefully we'll see some good changes, some actual homes and families being helped..and no more celebrities!! Your thoughts?

  1. I am hoping that one ,"Rule", that does not change is my perceived reluctance of this particular group to aggressively provoke spirits. Any venture made into the realm of spirit contains a degree of risk in encountering nasty nasty beings. Not all spirits are human. Advice in dealing with energy/spirit manifestations must be tempered with caution keeping those consulting GH team safe from potential harm after they go home , leaving potential victims at the mercy of forces they do not fully understand. Please forgive grammar or typo errors. This comment is posted as I literally run out the door.

    1. Thank you for nor not making sport of my inability to follow directions CoCo, ( the talking gorilla), could probably follow without incident. Obviously, my debut to this site proves I am hopelessly cyber challenged at times. Now on to what I thought I posted the first time around.
While reading a post regarding changes to the programming of "Ghost Hunters", regarding changes in store for viewers subsequent to Grant's departure from filming.
The article I read made mention of the exceptionally frequent use of language reaquiring a very active bleep machine. I agree with the writer . Seriously, when one's "job" is investigating alleged events of paranormal origin, the ,"What the, bleep", remarks do nothing enlightening the viewer and as my Grandma said, " profanity is used by people with poor vocabulary or ignorant." Never disagree with Gran'ma
My question regarding changes made to the series is one I think important to program accuracy and safety. Do the people/viewers following this show at this site think the GH group ,in general, is now entering situations in which the folks seeking help may be endangered by the type of cases the group is pursuing? I am very leery to watch investigators opening doors posing potential harm to the people GH says are to be helped and educated ?
Realm of spirit is not always benign , or even human. As a semi-regular real time viewer, there seems to be little if any action taken or suggested by GH team for any need to seek help of personal spiritual adviser. I really hope no one is seriously injured or harassed due lack of oversight by the GH team. One episode already exposed a female to alarming harm the individual receiving numerous scratches related to the encounter with a paranormal force. Even more disconcerting was the persistence in returning the individual to the same situation , ending with more than minimal physical injury.
Grant, to my observation, seemed to be one of the members who rarely provoked spirits and did occasionally suggest the participation of spiritual advisers.
      So what do ya'll think?
Please accept my apology for any errors of grammar and run on sentences.
Looking forward to following this site.

    2. OOOps! Last entry made before I received notice that my first attempt succeeded. Dyslexia is a wonderful state. Thank you for patience with a struggling newcomer.

    3. Peggy we agree with your observations entirely and we also don't mind any typos here. We all have the occasional typo and it's often when we are in the midst of writing an impassioned statement that our flying fingers and thoughts get in a screwy dance of wills :). We're just happy to have your comments,so come as you are, speak freely and fret no more. It is doubtful anyone would discount your wisdom over a typo :)
We have had similar concerns with the GH team in general wondering if they are truly helping the families plagued by spirit activity, especially the less friendly variety. In fact we question whether they do any follow up care at all. We've also wondered why they have taken such a dim view of seeking assistance from spiritual mediums in some of their cases. Clearly some of these situations are beyond their expertise. If we had to guess we'd say that Jason may be the one less interested in that idea.
