Paranormal State, real or fake?

Paranormal StateImage via WikipediaIf you watch A&E on cable then you have no doubt seen the show Paranormal State. If you haven't seen this show, check your listings to see when it comes on. This show deals with all aspects of the paranormal, uses psychic input and also examines different spiritual aspects that may be applied depending on the case they investigate. A serious minded group of impartial college students that offer assistance to those in need of help of the paranormal kind.

Pensive and  seemingly intelligent, the founder of PRS and lead investigator Ryan Buell is from Sumter, SC. Buell leads a group of his fellow investigators on real cases throughout the United States. Through his own personal experiences he is compelled to study the paranormal and he along with his team take each investigation seriously.
Unlike some paranormal shows, the PRS (Paranormal Research Society) appear more open minded, and do offer a wide variety of help for their clients in need. Often utilizing the insights of psychics.

While other shows are having celebrities go on investigations, and  spend a great deal of time seeing things the camera man never captures, or hearing things no one else in the viewing audience can hear, PRS takes a no nonsense approach, and use whatever means available to help the client. A sincere dedication to helping those that are haunted is evident. There is no tom-foolery, no silly idle conversations, no shrieks from spiders and personal fears that plague their investigators. They come, they see, they help. Or so the audience is made to believe. Ultimately that is what it boils down to, what the audience will believe.

As with any successful venture that ends up on television, the PRS team has not been without their critics. Some of which state the whole show is faked. With any successes there may be in the world of entertainment, there will no doubt be the ones that doubt the legitimacy and rightfully so. All too many times a show gets popular, and suddenly becomes a shadow of what it started out being.  There will always be some "entity" if you will, that is determined to discredit anything that anyone believes in. Just look at all the entities out there that say there is no God.That being said, one can only hope that the integrity remains intact as any of these paranormal shows encounter success.
