Fans, of the SyFy show 'Haunted Collector' don't miss out on tonight's premiere at 9/8c on your SyFy cable network!

John Zaffis and his team go into homes and buildings with reported hauntings to try and locate artifacts that may have negative or paranormal energy associated with it. Interviews, research with local historians and uncovering the history of the home or place of paranormal activity is a part of the overall investigation provided by John Zaffis and his team. Zaffis then asks the homeowners, and/or proprietors if they wish to have the artifact removed in an effort to remove the paranormal activity. Zaffis then houses the “haunted” items recovered in his museum.

The Haunted Collector show first premiered in June of 2011 and is now in it's third season. The show is scheduled to air tonight at 9/8 central on the SyFy channel. To catch up on the series and/or view past episodes you can visit the Syfy website at the link below.

"He's baaack, the Lizard man of Lee County"

Map of South Carolina highlighting Lee CountyImage via Wikipedia> According to recent stories in the news, the two legged, green, scaly, red eyed creature has made a new appearance in Lee County, SC. Ida Lane, a rural section of Lee County apparently has become a new haunt of the green creature when a resident discovered his vehicle was mauled during the night. The victim stated that upon awakening in the a.m. hours of Monday, he found his car in a damaged state unlike anything he'd seen before. This is precisely how the story of Lizard man began back in 1988. Reports were of a rural resident's vehicle being mauled by a creature that was in excess of 7 feet in height with large glowing red eyes. The sheriff at the time of the first sighting, Liston Truesdale, stated that he'd never seen that sort of damage done to a vehicle by any known creature. The sightings in 1988 generated massive media attention and resulted in over 50,000 visitors to Lee County. Was this latest incident Lizard man? Perhaps, perhaps it's the next generation. It can't be overlooked that the Lizard man of 1988, assuming he was an adult at that time, would be middle aged today. If Lizard man is anything like his human victims, his teeth are probably not quite as sharp and strong as they were in 1988, and no doubt his glowing red eyes are getting a little blurry visioned, especially at night. Quick get aways, grand leaps over creeks, aren't usually a part of a typical middle aged humans abilities. Not to say there aren't exceptions.
