Is Dave Tango of Ghost Hunters getting fired?

The latest rumors running rampant are that Dave Tango may be getting the ax on the hit SyFy show Ghost Hunters. In a recent facebook statement, Jason Hawes founder of the group TAPS and lead investigator of Ghost Hunters posted...

"ALL new Ghost Hunters tonight on Syfy and it's #HAWESOME!
Help us get the word out or Dave Tango gets fired!!
OK, I wont fire him, I'll have Steve do it!
Share this and get the word out!"

Now for those reading this they may just say, Oh well that is just a simple joke and meant to be funny, however many people that read the line have taken it seriously sparking a lot of internet activity to learn whether this was in jest or not..
TPB can conclude though that Dave Tango is still on the show, as his recent tweets on   https://twitter.com/davetango
Are endorsing and encouraging viewers to tune into the show as recently as yesterday. We think  if he were in serious risk of being let go he may not be so eager to endorse the show.  A quick run through of both Tangos tweets and Hawes tweets show no sign of anyone being let go anytime soon.

So we here at TPB ask you the reader, if Tango were fired, would you still watch and support the show?
