What can we say, we've tuned into medium Theresa Caputo's show Long Island Medium and we are always continually blown away with her. We tend to think only SyFy has great paranormal shows but TLC knocks it out of the park with Long Island Medium. Theresa Caputo's vivacious, bubbly albeit loud personality is hard to ignore in it's own right, but the accuracy of her abilities appears to be astounding to say the least.

Behind the blond bouffant style hair, colorful clothing and long nails is a typical long island mother and wife with extraordinary gifts. She often gets emotional during a reading and the peace and comfort she offers her clients during a reading is priceless. Caputo has been accused of using a tactic called **"cold reading" by skeptics, as are most publicly known mediums. The most galling part of those who make these types of accusations is how quickly they make the assumption that all who are open to the possibility can be so easily fooled. While there is no doubt that people can be fooled, to assume that every person that is open to this type of phenomena is incapable of discerning the accuracy of the pyschic's reading is ridiculous.

 We know there have been charlatans since man's existence, and we also know that man is notorious for trying to destroy anything he can't explain. Many who are convinced that "cold reading" is the scam of the century and that we all have blinders on are the same people that do not regard anyone's religious or spiritual beliefs, but instead worship science as the leading authority in the world. Science has the limitations of man. To have the audacity to believe man has intellectual authority over the universe is conceited if nothing else.
There will always be skeptics, and those who have challenges for mediums..Call the believers gullible, ill advised, ignorant and blind if you will... but at the end of the day, it is our own intuition we have to follow, and that isn't about science....
