| Ghost hunter material? Seriously? |
Our question to our readers is, will this help or hurt the show? TPB has long griped that Ghost Hunters was becoming too Hollywoody, is that a word? Well at any rate we thought the show was going in a very "commercial" direction when celebrities started popping up on the weekly show.
Is this a blatant attempt to do damage control to keep the ratings from plummeting in the aftermath of popular Grant Wilson's abrupt departure?
Just for the record: TPB has tried to verify this rumor, found one floating source thus far, but in the event it is true, we want to be able to say we shared the rumor with our readers :)
Wonder who would replace Jason Hawes should he leave? Woody Allen? Couldn't you just picture it? "this is crazy, we're hunting ghosts can't we just channel Casper, at least he was friendly?" LOL

DeleteI think this show should be done, every episode is the same. It had a nice run. but it takes slots from better shows. I never watch syfy on wednesdays anymore. boaring
ReplyDeleteIt does seem to be on a steady decline. I don't see it getting better or earning extra respect if they hire a comedian to take the place of Grant. It is getting boring.

ReplyDeleteI would be shocked to see anyone else get it but Steve. The only reason I can think of for why they'd pass on him is his phobia limitations hindering his ability to investigate anywhere that requires flying. Jason and Grant were extremely fond of Steve. I am no fan, personally but he does seem the likely candidate.
ReplyDeleteAs I watch the show over and over, I realize how much I would like Amy to go away. She claims everything she sees as a shadow/ghost.. Steve even if he can't fly is perfect as a leader for TAPS..
