Do you see it? |
This Statue is called the Angel of Hope and it is a memorial to those who have lost a child or children to disease, or accidents. It is a place to for those family and friends to remember and meditate..if you will notice, on the arm located on the left there is a light blue tinged mist. We can't say for certain, but those of the psychic persuasion have sensed it is indeed spirit..what say you?
Well, I for one believe it is a spiritual entity on the Angels arm. I have done a lot of research about ghost manifesting in cemeteries, and although this statue is not in a cemetery I believe it has a ghost that clings to it. I also believe it is a younger spirit, not a young child but perhaps a late teen person. This statue is a very strong symbolic symbol of both hope and compassion. Often when people have a sudden death, I believe their spirit searches for hope, compassion and guidance-and what would be better than finding comfort in an Angels arms. But these are my own thoughts and what I feel from this photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully put, and you may be right about the age of the spirit, the daisies that were left there were dyed vivid colors that I would think a teen would have liked. My heart goes out to any spirit that is searching for those things..I just wish there were ways we could help them more.. :)
DeleteI know what you mean about helping them more. Often just having closure so they can move forward on their journey is just what they need. That is interesting about the flower colors. I just know what I picked up in the photo which I love!! Good Capture!!
ReplyDeleteIt gives me a pain in my heart to think that they are trapped and need to move on and cant..I don't know about you, but I always get frustrated when I see a paranormal show or documentary and I see people talk about the trapped spirits, that haven't moved on, and I'm like why don't you help them? Sometimes they do, but then a lot of them just care about catching activity and not really about the spirit.. :(
DeleteMy family is responsible for bringing the Angel of Hope to Orangeburg. My brother in law and his wife searched for a way to remember all children who have gone too soon after the death of their daughter. There are many children remembered there on bricks and plaques, including my own. The first saturday in December there is always a Angel of Hope vigil and ceremony remembering these "children". What i find interesting about this post is that the tinge of blue and yes I see it.....my niece, the one whose death sparked an interest in bringing this angel....her favorite color was turquoise. And that's what i see. The colored daisies were left by my brother in law and his wife. My niece was 11 when she died. When this post was made she would have been 16. Also the mention of the word HOPE. The word HOPE is inscribed on the Angel's wing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting on this article many sensitives picked up on the spirit presence felt in this pic. Thanks to your family for bringing this lovely symbolic tribute to those precious children that are gone too soon. One thing this picture proves in my heart though, is they are never truly gone.. love and light to you and yours.
DeleteReading this gave me chills... I agree with Dawn, thanks to your family for bringing this symbolic tribute to the children.
